Reggie Jackson was a highly regarded American League baseball player, known for his powerful hitting and clutch performance. In his 21 year career he played on Kansas City Athletics 1967-1967, Oakland Athletics 1968-1975, Baltimore Orioles 1976, New York Yankees 1977-1981, California Angels 1982-1986 and once again the Oakland Athletics 1987. Jackson was a 14-American League All-Star, member of five World Series championship teams and won the American League MVP Award in 1973. In 21 big league seasons, Jackson totaled 2,548 hits, 563 home runs and 1,702 RBI. Jackson was also known as Mr. October when in game 6 of the 1977 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, he hit three home runs on three pitches that helped the New York Yankees win their 21st World Series. Reggie Jackson was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1993.
